Had an issue with a Ford Explorer where the water pump went and was replaced. Timing chain was put back on slightly off, but to be fair mistakes happen and had a second out to do the fix. Shortly after the car started tossing up emission code sensor. Thought it was down to the tear down leading to a broken 02 sensor.
Another mechanic out to take a look, and noticed the cars head gasket may be gone, with issue going down to the cats and running lean.
I accept mistakes happen , and don't fault the guys. They took care of the extra labour, owned where they screwed up and were 100% honest. Not had the best of luck with this car , but would I use them again on the next car. Yes.

If I could give 6/5 stars I would. They have extremely reasonable pricing, the quote and the actual cost were the exact same. The customer service was OUTSTANDING. I have never felt more comfortable, heard, and have never been communicated with that well from a mechanic. This is my new go to. Christian did an outstanding job replacing the hydroboost on my truck. He was professional, punctual, and clearly knew his craft. He took the time to explain the issue, walked me through the repair, and made sure everything was working properly before calling the job complete.

The truck now brakes exactly as it should, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is honest, communicates well, and takes pride in doing quality work.

I have never experienced such a professional and kind individual as I have with Michael. I am so appreciative for the time he and Chris took to come out to try to diagnose my car. I will use this service again. I am a happy customer. Great way to get your car fixed without leaving your house. I like that if you do know what's wrong they will give you an estimate and that's what you pay. They are cheaper than the local places also. I used this service and was very pleased with it. As always be patient with the mechanics, some jobs take them longer than they thought and they do run behind. It is hard to estimate unseen problems sometimes. Like when they go get you part to fix your car and the auto parts store gives them the wrong part, then they have to go back and get another part. This can make them late for the next appointment. I recently had Auto Monkey replace my spark plugs and ignition coils, and the whole experience was excellent. The mechanic completed all the work right in my one‑car garage at my apartment complex, which made the entire process incredibly convenient.

Being able to have a mechanic come to my location was incredibly helpful, particularly since my ignition wouldn't crank. It saved me from having to get the car towed to a dealership or service shop. if you can't move your car from your home or wherever download the app Auto Monkey and set up a request a mechanic will contact you through the app. pricing is so much better than taking it to a shop. my experience with them is they have great customer service and they try to take care of their customers. The value is in the TRUST!! Undoubtedly there are cheaper options out there for Mobile mechanics but trust in mechanics is hard to come by and that's compounded when dealing with most mobile mechanics. I can confidently state that both Sean (the mechanic chosen to repair my Jaguar) and Mike (the Company's liason) excelled in professionalism, efficiency and most importantly virtue. I would not hesitate to entrust AutoMonkey with my family's future repairs nor recommend them to friends looking for car repairs done right and done ethically.
